Aren't these eggs bizarre? How funny that such a drab, cute little bird would make such strikingly colored eggs? My students and I were staring at them when Dean said what we were all thinking, "Teacher, they look like chocolate."
No, I have never heard of a tinamou. But my first thought definitely was: CANDY!
