Recommended with Big Hero 6

If you have the chance to see Big Hero 6, take it take it take it!

Big Hero 6 movie poster

This is my new favorite movie.  It's set in San Fransokyo, a city made up from San Fran and Tokyo.  It reminds me of Serenity, and I would totally want to live there if it were a real place.  The graphics are beautiful, and I love the combinations of American and Japanese aesthetics and culture.  My favorite part of the movie, though, is the characters.  They are each absolutely perfect and round and real.  The story is great, too.  I laughed, I cried, and for the first time since The Incredibles, I wanted to be in the movie.  This was one I wanted to see again right after it was finished.  When you go see Big Hero 6, be sure to stay through the end, like the Marvel fans do, then let me know what you think of the movie!

I shared my chai recipe a little bit ago, but wow look at these tasty warm drinks, too!

I think German is a beautiful language, and I'd love to learn some of it one day, but this video of language comparisons (featuring German) is super funny.

A college classmate of mine has written about his experience as a gay Christian, and I want to share his story with you.  So many in the church and outside of the church get so much in the situation wrong, and even if you're not religious at all, I'd love for you to see what he's doing.

Japan is going through a butter shortage!  Their traditional Christmas sponge cake is at risk thanks to how much butter it requires, the aging dairy farmers, and the poor stressed cows producing less milk.
