Recommended with Crock Pot Chicken Tikka Masala

I've got another winner to share with you all.
Crock pot Chicken Tikka Masala from the kitchn!

Super easy slow cooker chicken tikka masala recipe! Such a warm and cozy dish.

Here's what I changed.  I sauteed the onions and spices as recommended in the notes, I used powdered ginger instead of fresh, I used chicken thighs instead of breasts (and I highly recommend the thighs), and I did not marinade the meat.  Caleb ate his curry with basmati rice, but I just ate mine like a soup.  It's so, so good!  All the flavors give the dish a spiced coziness, like a good chai.  Caleb liked it better than the butter chicken curry I make, and I think I do, too.  Go forth and enjoy the winter with this warm dish!

What do you think about Feminist bullies?  I can't stand this stuff.

Do you know how to care for a cast iron skillet?

I just discovered these neat printed tights!  Would you ever wear them?  These black with gold ones and these navy bird ones are my faves.

So... nerdy nail decals.  Yes.  Very yes.

These NYC war veterans have a moving company that brings military discipline to your move.  I wish they had an Atlanta branch, because they look awesome!

Dang, here's what not to do in an interview.

  1. Fyi, the Google link doesn't work anymore, the content was removed.
Love the tights! Too expensive for me though :/ and I would be allll about Tardis nail decals...

Loooove the article on bullies! I feel like that put into words so much of what I think when I read feminist rants. Ugh. It just makes me so mad. Honestly, people are afraid to stand up to those who cry "feminism" for the same reason people are afraid to stand up to those who cry "racism." They/we don't want to add fuel to their fire. Plus it feels futile and like just making a drop in the bucket.

    1. Thanks for telling me about that link! Here's essentially what it led to, if you're interested:

And I hear you about the crappy parts of Feminism. The bad really is bad, and it's like the pendulum is just swinging so far in the other extreme when I see feminists being total witches in the name of Feminism.
